My name is Scot Trueblood, and I am president of Cutting Edge Construction & Woodworks, Inc. I’ve been a resident of south Florida since 2003, and founded Cutting Edge in 2005 as a Subchapter S Corporation. Our company is a Florida Certified Building Contractor, license # CBC 1253739. We are mighty proud of that, because it’s not easy to become a state certified contractor here in the Sunshine State. That is good, because it protects YOU, the consumer, from unscrupulous, fly-by-night operators.
Before 2003, I was located in beautiful Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where for 8 years I owned and operated Cutting Edge Woodworks, Inc. We built everything, from packing crates to multi-million dollar custom log homes. It was a great success, but in the end, the long and ultra-cold winters finally got the best of me. I needed to trade the mountains and snow for sun and sand, so I left Jackson Hole a happy man and flew south for warmer weather.
I have a total of over 30 years in the construction industry, in a wide variety of disciplines. I pride myself in being able to find answers to new questions, solve complex problems, and use teamwork to achieve our goals.
